Spice

This isn’t the best of photos I’m afraid, some of the panels are overlaid with a shimmery gauze fabric which looks dull rather than shiny. Anyhoo, this is one of my “grow your skills” projects, the main point of which was just to test out a panelling technique on the sewing machine, but also to practice mixing fabrics of varying colours and textures. This piece will probably be used as a square in a quilt at some point.
